The campaign

Advertising exactly where people buy

Bilifuge by Schaer Pharma supports natural digestion and liver function — four plant extracts combined with the nutrient choline. The product was already on the market and available in pharmacies, but this was the first time it ran on screens at the point of sale. That made the starting point clear: a product on the shelf that had never been advertised in store.

How it was measured

Two weeks, pharmacies and drugstores with the campaign against a control group without, measured on sales. Everything acting nationwide — the holidays, demand, other advertising — hit both groups equally.

And afterwards?

Once the campaign ended, sales fell back to the level of the control group. The effect arrives with the campaign — and leaves with it. A trend or a new listing would have stayed.

Why it works

A product can sit on the shelf and still be overlooked. The screen makes it visible exactly where the decision is made — and the specialist staff see it every day.
